'Tis The Season
Season's Greetings
To Everyone!
Wishing you all the very best this
holiday season and remember it's
not the number and size of the gifts,
it's the love and thought put forth.
May you all find the joy in good
friends and great company. The
love of family and the comfort of
togetherness.

Stop The H8
Saturday across the nation-cities and towns were the site for
demonstrations in protest of the passage of California's
Proposition 8. The Twin Cities held two such protests;
one in Minneapolis, which drew 700+ folks, and St Paul
at the state capital, which drew around 60-100 folks.
I attended the St Paul rally and let me tell you-it was
COLD!!!!! With temps around 30 degrees and even
nastier wind chills-I'm proud that it attracted even
a small crowd...small-but passionate crowd.
Hell, my camera batteries eventually froze up!
Even folks in Fargo and Grand Forks, ND
held demonstrations.
Love will overcome hate!

Worth A Quick Trip To London!
Artist Adam Neate will be staging a remarkable exhibit of
his work this Friday, November 14th, throughout London.
Artwork estimated to be worth over a million dollars, 1,000 pieces,
will be left around the city starting at dawn for whomever
wants to take it!
Neate is a world renowned graffiti artist whose work fetches
up to around $50,000 each. "It has always been a dream of mine to do a
show around the whole of London, to take over the whole city in one go.
I want everybody to be able to see it, but once the pieces are out there I don't
mind what happens to them," he said.
Anybody want to go to London for the weekend?

Today Is The Day! Today We Change Our Future!
We have finally made it to the finish my friends.
We have had to suffer through the
constant rhetoric, the endless lies, unjustified hatred and anger...but
now the power is in OUR hands!
Today the truth will be spoken through our votes.
We will demonstrate to the entire world that WE DO CARE and
WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE, WE BELIEVE IN HOPE!
The people of these United States
will not stand by and let the rich and powerful, the religious right, the racist
hate mongers of OUR country dictate OUR future!
Let your voice be heard with resounding clarity!
Voting is your right.
Voting is your privilege.
USE IT!!

A Legend Lost
Paul Newman
1925-2008
He was a class act his entire career. He was a devoted husband and family man.
He is what defines a true legend in Hollywood.
"I'd like to be remembered as a guy who tried — tried to be part of his times, tried to help people communicate with one another, tried to find some decency in his own life, tried to extend himself as a human being. Someone who isn't complacent, who doesn't cop out. "

Palin: Guns & Bikinis
I'm lovin' the Republican choice for vice president more and
more each day! She's such a fine example for the
youth of this country:
*Her 17 year old daughter is pregnant and unmarried. Though
she claims her daughter will marry the father.
Can you say "shot-gun wedding?"
*She is being investigated in Alaska for purportedly asking that
her former brother in-law be fired as an Alaskan state trooper
for divorcing her sister.
*The picture above is PRICELESS!!
Oh those silly Republicans!

RNC Peace March
A generally peaceful Anti-War march took place today in St Paul, the first
day of the Republican National Convention. It started with a small gathering
of about 200 college students at MacCalester College in St Paul,
which met up with a much larger gathering at the Minnesota state capital.
Initial reports stated that only a small number of protesters
were arrested. Of course there were the usual self-righteous douche bags
who feel it necessary to commit acts of vandalism and general stupidity...but
they were few and their ignorant acts won't negate
the real message meant to be sent.
By the way, don't you think the timing of Hurricane Gustav was
kind've a bit of divine intervention? A reminder to the Republicans
of just one of the Bush administrations many major blunders, that
being Hurricane Katrina.
