This past weekend was the annual Northeast Minneapolis
"Art-a-Whirl", an opportunity to explore the artist
community in NE Minneapolis. It was a glorious spring day with
invigorating rays of sun occasionally shadowed by dark
wispy clouds. I was joined by Kitty and our friend Liz, all of us
wandering somewhat aimlessly through grandiose buildings
full of artists studios. The weather, the buildings and the company were
definitely the highlights of the day. The most spectacular building
was/is the Casket Building, which has been meticulously and lovingly
restored to amazing new grandeur.
Here are some quick visual highlights.
