Boondoggle Bridge

Boondoggle: boon·dog·gle Pronunciation:\ˈbün-ˌdä-gəl, -ˌd-\

A useless, wasteful, or impractical project; -- especially one authorized by a government agency as a favor to partisans, to employ unemployed people, or in return for corrupt payments.

Work of little or no value done merely to look busy.

The one thing about this slab of concrete they call "design" is that it will forever be a reminder to us all of the incompetent folks we currently have in elected office. Hopefully we will all learn from this colossal uninspired blunder.
